2018 Schwarz & Co, Chenin Blanc, from Ngadjuri Country, Barossa Valley, SA
As a fifth-generation winemaker, Jason Schwarz has an exceptional portfolio of wines bearing his family’s name. This Chenin is the only white Jason makes. His time in South Africa enamoured him to the grape and he delights us with a wine of such purity and distinction. Picked at optimal ripeness, there’s roundness to the fruit, but no sweetness. There’s subtle texture from lees stirring and a tease of minerality.
2017 Murdoch Hill, Red Blend, from Peramangk Country, Adelaide Hills, SA
